Shahrukh Khan In Don 3 Biography
This thread is for those who would like to put forward ideas for a Don 3....assuming Don 2 is a hit then Don 3 will almost surely be in the pipeline...doubt the businessman in SRK will miss out on such an oppurtunity....Don 2 was written by fans...and most probably Don 3 would be aswell....put all ur idead forward...u never know the script-writers might visit here and your idead could make it!
I'll start off: I reckon Don 3 shouldn't repeat Don and Don 2....Don was a face/off sort of film about a villain and his look alike....Don 2 was more of a bank heist film.
(SPOILERS) We know from Don 2 that Don now has immunity from persecution...but obviously as soon as the police realise that JK Diwan is dead and the plates are fake (they melted when they shouldn't have)...they'll be hot on Don's trail.....
In Don 3 they should continue the story...but go ahead by by about 10 years....make Don around his mid-50's and though even more wise, less reactive and less curniving due to age and more prone to mistakes...Malik would have retired..and Roma perhaps moved on...bring fresh characters...and perhaps bring back Jasjit...he owes Don and that could be explored. This time they should have Don with an actual empire.....Ive noticed how despite being a Don...he has never had people answering to him...in Don 2 hes essentially shown as a loner who recruits people to help him....but for such a criminal mastermind one wonders why he doesn't have a gang....now as he has got older he has truly become a Don, a criminal leader of a gang.
The plot should be based around Don perhaps mentoring someone to follow his path...a sort of surrogate son...it would be interesting to explore how Don would react to a son...he also wants to move one but is finding it hard to do so....many other gangsters have become wise to his tactics and he himself knows he is not the force he used to be....but he has a plan in mind...one final hurrah...to rid all other Dons of there wealth and set himself up for good but he must also face his own gang turning against him who are trying to set him up...I would also at this point introduce a real hardcore rival Don...someone who essentially can perhaps bring fear in Don....again it would be exploring something that we wouldn't have seen before, what does Don fear, every human being no matter how evil or macho he is has a fear....the film could make use perhaps of more interesting locales...the Bahamas perhaps or even a return to India....
The way to end and essentially finish Don as a trilogy would rather than be caught....Don would have to have a face transplant of sorts as he becomes a wanted man almost anywhere he sets foot in...SRKs Don would be abolished in one sense...and hence the trilogy would finish in the sense that as much as Don is about Don its also about SRKs protrayal of Don....I don't think Don would die (hes a metaphor for immortality and the fact is he has already been caught...so there would be no point catching him again as an end to the trilogy)
Your thoughts....how can Farhan Aktar/Shahrukh Khan take Don forward....
